Return to Repair
Return to Repair was idealised by designer, Tamika Sewell, when facing questions about how brands can work with customers to help with extending the life of their fashion products. How can we help and support our customer in this process? Is there a way we can help our customers to extend the life of their garments? If we can find a workable solution, will customers be less inclined to replace their clothing as soon as it is worn? These are all questions that Tamika set out answer in the Return to Repair initiative.
Return to Repair is a system we are implementing in our business to enable our customers to return their garments to us for repair. Whether they are torn, ripped, missing buttons or have a broken zipper – we are offering our customers the option to send their garments back to us for repair.

No! Return to Repair is completely voluntary. It is simply an option we wanted to offer our customers in order to help increase the life-span of our garments.
No. We will not accept garments that are not aurei lúa to be a part of Return to Repair.
We charge a flat rate of $30 for all Return to Repair items. On top of this, you will also be charged a freight flat rate of $40. This is to cover the cost of postage to send the garment to us for mending, and postage to send the garment back to you once mended.
That's for you to decide! If you love your aurei lúa item, and believe after a simple repair you will continue to get use out of the garment - we would definitely encourage you to take this path! Extending the life of our garments rather than replacing them when something small breaks or tears, is a great way to avoid feeding into the fashion fashion industry.
