At AUREI LÚA, we are committed to providing fashion that not only looks good but also does good. Our sustainability criteria are designed to give our customers a clear view of the environmental, social, and economic impact of our products. With this in mind, we have decided to introduce a sustainability rating system for each of our products. This rating is out of 5; 5 out of 5 being the best sustainability score possible.
Here’s how we assess and rate the sustainability of each of our designs:
Environmental Sustainability: We prioritise the use of sustainable materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, hemp, and Tencel, which reduce environmental impact from the start. We also evaluate our production processes to minimize energy consumption, water usage, and waste. By employing eco-friendly techniques like low-impact dyes and waterless dyeing, we strive to make our manufacturing as green as possible.
Social Sustainability: Ensuring fair and safe labor practices is at the core of our social sustainability efforts. We work diligently to guarantee fair wages and safe working conditions throughout our supply chain, and we are committed to being free from child and forced labor. Additionally, we support local artisans and small-scale producers, especially in disadvantaged communities, fostering economic development and social infrastructure improvements.
Economic Sustainability: Transparency and ethical practices are paramount in our supply chain management. We work closely with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability, ensuring traceability and accountability at every step. By maintaining transparency, we help our customers make informed decisions and support a fashion industry that values ethics and sustainability.

The Sustainability Criteria
